ARTIST'S STATEMENT: The underlying theme of all my work reflects my abiding interest in architectural form. The evolution of my design process is reflected in spontaneous linear structures over planes or geometric volumes. I frequently employ triangular volumes and the delineation of triangular volumes for strength. This allows the work to remain light weight. The open areas create shadows and interact with the clothing or skin of the wearer. The majority of metal surfaces are textured by roller printing. My work is to be viewed as sculpture for the landscape of the human form. CONTACT: gkraber@yahoo.com |
