ARTIST'S STATEMENT: Working with metal is magic.  With a torch or hammer in my hand, I become part artist and part shaman, in a centuries old ritual of turning raw materials into precious objects, each with a pre-ordained purpose.  I explore new ways to encompass ancient techniques, evolving work that appears to have just been unearthed.  When beheld or worn, my pieces become collaborative works, engaging and inviting the viewer into deeper reflection of the magic around us and the beauty within us.
