ARTIST'S STATEMENT: My approach to design relies on the interplay between the material & the process. As I texture and pattern metal to create surface interest, I become aware of possibilities. Shapes - organic, architectural - emerge, often contrasting sharply with the softer finishes creating unexpected tactile qualities. Pieces are fused, fabricated, granulated, textured and oxidized.
