ARTIST'S STATEMENT: My passion is finding atypical stones and using different metalsmithing techniques to transform them into a
unique piece of jewelry. With metal, I can explore various textures, patinas and finishes that showcase a gem and make it come alive. I appreciate an interesting geological story, as well as the challenge and process of taking raw materials and forging an object with balance and style.
